Some children experience the world a little differently, but at heart, they want the very same things: to play, to laugh, and to belong.
Just Like You: Tim’s Story invites young readers into Tim’s world, where everyday moments feel both familiar and unique. Through simple, heartfelt storytelling, children begin to see what connects them, not what sets them apart.
Because when we look closely enough, we realize; we’re more alike than we think.

“My goal as an author is simple; to provide enjoyment and knowledge for readers. I create characters to love and journeys that can be travelled together. Sometimes a roller coaster of suspense and sometimes quiet moments of joy and understanding on a park bench. Please come along with me and the characters and enjoy the escape!”

Just Like You:
Tim's Story
Meet Tim: a child who loves to run, play, explore, and imagine, just like any other kid. Through his eyes, readers discover the small joys of childhood, from building sandcastles to sharing laughter, all while gently noticing the moments that feel a little different for him. Sometimes the world can be too loud, too bright, or too overwhelming, but Tim finds his own ways to navigate it.
Told in a warm, conversational voice, this story helps children recognize themselves in Tim while also understanding his unique experiences. Instead of focusing on differences, the book builds connection, showing that friendship, kindness, and empathy begin when we realize how much we truly have in common. It’s a story that opens hearts, sparks conversations, and helps every child feel seen.
